Virtual Design and Modeling
We understand the critical nature of technology in the delivery of highly effective and well coordinated systems. Our experienced VDC professionals, many with field experience, are equipped with software and training to collaborate seamlessly with the most advanced project design teams in the industry. Our primary tools include: Revit with SysQue, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
Our in-house licensed mechanical engineers are experienced in design-build and design-assist projects. The engineering team supports projects through all phases of construction; from conception to pre-construction, design, fabrication, and commissioning. At Stirrett Johnsen our engineers aren’t hidden behind layers of bureaucracy but put on the front line providing creative results-based solutions with a hands on approach to project design.
Prefabrication and Spooling
Through innovation and the latest industry tools our team delivers accurate and coordinated VDC documents to support the spooling, prefabrication, and installation effort. It's not uncommon for Stirrett Johnsen's prefabrication efforts to account for over 40% of a job's total labor. This results in fabricated assemblies accurate to the fraction of an inch; providing a perfect fit in the field and a reduced job-site footprint.
(Infection Control Risk Assessment) is a comprehensive approach to the protection of patients and health facility occupants from infectious disease. This is a vital aspect and moral responsibility for construction in occupied healthcare facilities. As an ICRA certified healthcare specialist, we bring the knowledge and experience to protect vulnerable patients from infectious disease.
Early understanding of the social and sustainability objectives of each project is important to optimize design around project goals. We take pride in bringing appropriate and sensible design options to our projects. Stirrett Johnsen has assisted project teams to successful LEED certification on over 50 projects. We have the passion and experience to find the most effective solutions for your building.
Lean involves never ending efforts to reduce waste at all levels of our organization. It’s about flow, efficiency, quality and so much more. Our lean culture elevates the levels of success of each Stirrett Johnsen project.
